The Company
Stringer & Co (Scales) Ltd has been established in the industry since 1955 as a respected supplier of weighing equipment dedicated to providing quality products at competitive prices. We are members of the national trade association The UK Weighing Federation (membership no. 1027). 

Products
Our products include bench and floor scales, parts counting scales, retail weighing machines, medical scales, weigh beams, platform weighers, pallet truck scales, crane scales as well as laboratory and even hand-held, credit-card sized scales.

Applications
Applications include food, laboratory, retail, industrial, medical and domestic use.  We can provide certified approval for weighing machines to be used for "trade purposes" as required by Weights and Measures legislation.

Manufacturers
We are authorised distributors for the following manufacturers: GSE Scale Systems, Good Scale Company, UWE, Shinko, Soehnle, , Tanita, Weymed, Kain Chung, Kern, and Nagata.

Using the site
The menu bar on the left of the page will appear on most pages and links to other locations on the site.  The Catalogue contents links to pages of products grouped mainly by manufacturer.  The Category listing links to pages of products grouped by style and function.  Once you have identified the model details of the products you require go to the order form to create and submit your order.

Submitting an order
Existing Stringer dealers should complete details in the Order form. Confirmation of receipt of the order by return e-mail can be provided if required.

Site users
Stringer & Co only supply bona fide trade dealers.  End users should refer to local yellow pages under "Scales & Weighing Equipment" where all of our dealers are listed.  They may also provide maintenance and calibration services in addition to supplying any of the products listed on this site.

All prices shown on the site are recommended retail prices.  VAT is extra.
